Summarize your bug I just downloaded the recent free trial on Steam to see if I would be into 2042. However, anytime I play a match longer than 5 minutes I get this unbearable sound glitch. It basically distorts a recent sound and spins it out on loop until after minutes it just becomes a loud high pitch noise. When I close Battlefield, the sound continues, and does not stop until I restart my PC. I experience this on no other games. In fact, I just put a few hundred hours on CS2 recently with no issues. I'm running windows 11, Asus Rog Strix z-690e, Intel 12700k, 32gb ddr5 6000mhz, 6700 xt gpu. Any help would be appreciated!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure

    Hi @Ted21088,

Are you using any sort of separate audio interface or software?

Hi, I hope you've seen our threads on the Technical Issues forum as well... This has been an ongoing problem since S6 with interfaces.

For those of you who need a workaround without uninstalling the Focusrite (or other) drivers. Change your buffer size in the Focusrite settings up from default (my default was 128) to 256. If 256 doesn't work, go up to 512. Those two have been the best working buffer sizes we've found so far in the several threads over in tech issues forums here.

If you have your drivers/Focusrite Control reinstalled, this can be found by right clicking the Focusrite icon in your windows tray in the bottom right and finding the settings.

I really hope this is fixed soon.
