Spotting animation backs you out of ADS

    Yes indeed , if ya are zoomed in and spot with q a enemy it very often shows the finger pointing animation !|
    Also sometimes while ya zoomed in , zoom quits without reason and need to zoomin again ???

    @Rokebo73 It's pretty game breaking. It happens every single round that I play. I'll be aiming at someone, spot them while shooting, and it'll do the stupid animation. It makes me miss shots all the time while sniping.

    I can't believe more people aren't complaining about this, but it's probably because most people don't spot.

    @RaginSam i will test it again, i deleted all bf2042/cache content to see it this does anything about this issue !
    I advise you to do the same , so youre sure ya got updated cache aka shaders !

    it happened when i played sniper (also reported it in forum), but as assault rifle it doesn't happen

    @ProfessorBoreas this happens with any weapon, but very rarely. Especially with the assault rifle, in particular with the SFAR-M GL and K8 HOLO scope.

    @pecmeserp Once it happens during a match, it starts doing it far more frequently. I'm Constantly spotting people though. If I see someone, they're spotted.

    @RaginSam Still happening.

    It might have something to do with the Commorose. There might not be enough delay between a quick press and holding the button down. After you spot someone, it quickly goes into the Commorose without actually showing it (it fades in I believe), then the animation of your character happens.

    The fix could be maybe a slider for delay before the Commorose activates. Or just add 25-100ms before the Commorose comes up.
