I'm sorry to hear you're having problems running the game after the last update. Can you please let us know if you tried any troubleshooting steps yet? If yes, please list the steps you've tried so far.
While we don't know which steps you have tried, I'd like to suggest some basic steps such as repairing the game on EA app and if problem persists, try a Clean Boot: How to clean or safe boot your computer
It would also be helpful if you could provide us a DxDiag: How to gather information on your PC using DxDiag
