Got it as a gift in Steam.
I reinstalled EA app multiple times but I found interesting that it is never displayed as an installed app for some reason so I can't delete it, it does not seem to have an "uninstall.exe"?
I cleared its cache from %ProgramData% and deleted it manually to reinstall it to no avail.
Maybe the app recovery option will help.

I think there's also a repair option in the EA App installer.
