Summarize your bug When a player fires a TOW round they can direct it such that it turns around and hits an object that it has already past simply by pointing the TOW launcher at an object that is behind the TOW round.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into a map with TOW emplacements such as Caspian Border. Deploy into the game world and go to a TOW launcher such as the one on D objective. Use the emplacement by pressing the bound key to use the item and point the TOW launcher into an area where it can travel. Shoot the TOW launcher in that direction wait a fraction of a second and point the TOW launcher at an object nearby.
What happens when the bug occurs? The launched TOW round will perform a 180 degree change in direction in an attempt to hit the object you are pointing at even though it has already past it.
What should be happening instead? The TOW round is supposed to veer off course in the trajectory that you traced with the TOW launcher while still advancing forward.

The TOW projectile seems to be capable of doing a 180 degree turn if you fire it and aim it at an object that it has passed. I do not know if this works for moving objects or whether the distance is a factor in this.

Here is a YouTube video I made demonstrating this: https://youtu.be/Z510eW6UyYw

If you look at the clip that I have provided you will see that in the Battlefield 3 and 4 segments when the player loses sight of what they are aiming at the projectile will veer off course so that you cannot treat it as a dumb fire weapon. This is also how Battlefield: Bad Company 2 TOW devices work

On a side note I would ask for you to please draw inspiration from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 TOW devices as they feature a bounding box in the heads up display that lags behind your aim and gives a nice approximation of where the projectile is going while also reinforcing the military motif of the game (Of course this is a game but that doesn't mean everything should look and feel like a game. Part of the reason past Battlefield games were successful is because they immersed you with professional looking HUDS and equipment). There was also visual noise on the display to add to the atmospheric immersion and to obscure your sight for balance purposes.

Wishing you peace and love - thank you in advance

*Edit -  For second YouTube URL showing the same issue this time using the TOW in the M3A3 Bradley tank: https://youtu.be/ME75DX9neAI
