My friend is unable to see / add me as a friend (he is on XBOX) and neither can I (PS5)
privacy settings are set to everyone and both of us have crossplay enable (Battlefield 2042…)
I’ve seen threads dating back years, how can i fix this!?

I have the same issue. I am on Xbox series x with crossplay enabled and am trying to add a PS5 friend. We were in the same room looking at each other's screens. Crossplay enabled, correct gamer tag and/or EA account names entered, but still get the message that "no players match search criteria"
I'm already aware of cross play chat not working, but WTF. Same old adage, if its broke, don't launch it....
I'm having the same issue, anybody found a solution? This isn't solved....
The EA Desktop app on PC will let you add friends but I still have no clue how to join them in-game. I'm on Xbox One and I'm trying to link up with PC players.

YES, it says crossplay, Yes, you see xbox and PC players YET, can't play with your EA friends???
Can't even search for them to add them or even start your own party to add them when on PS5?
