Unable to bind keys that allow for accel/decel while turning (armor or vehicles)

Summarize your bug It is impossible to bind keys that allow vehicles to turn whilst driving forward and backward. Whether using keyboard+mouse, or simply keyboard, I have had no success in any combination that allows moving forward or backward (or accelerating forward/backward) while turning. All ground vehicles. I am unable to find any online resources to address the binding issues.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? set: mouse 2 =accelerate turn/move left = d turn/move right = f s = slow down / backward
What happens when the bug occurs? the vehicle can only turn once you let go of the acceleration (fwd or back) key/button.
What should be happening instead? free movement left or right, turning left or right while accelerating forward or backward. 3000 hours of BF4 and this has never been a problem until now.

You cannot completely customize the vehicle key bindings.
