@MSG_Blaster This is also my conclusion. @EA_Leeuw and other EA supporters keep pushing the blame on the ISP but refuse to give us any information (e.g. server IP) that we can give to the ISP to confirm that there is a problem.
I am personally convinced that the problem is with EA/DICE and the BF2042 servers. Users around the world and with various different ISP's have complained about the same problem. Logically, there is no way this can be caused by the ISP's. For weeks before the 4.0 update, I had been having this problem especially at peak gaming hours. Right after the 4.0 update there were server problems worldwide, most likely because everyone wanted to try playing after the update.EA/DICE resolved it after a short while, and since then I haven't had the problem. I'm sure what happened is that EA/DICE upped the server capacity on my local servers (Singapore), and now the capacity is actually enough to service the demand, at least for now.
Everything points to only one logical source of the problem.EA/DICE BF2042 server capacity. They are trying to revive the game and yet their server teams don't understand that lack of server capacity is stopping players from playing. DICE, please.
