With the latest patches, we have done several fixes and see the original issue as solved.
If you do come across this issue again please make a new topic about the issues with as much detail as possible.

@EA_Atic started again today. play a match, after it is over, dont do anything, let it auto search/queue/join, then it happens. cancel out of that, manually join and works fine
Try joining a match with AI (different match). After it completes, abort and leave the match. Then try going back to join the multiplayer match you want. This isn't a fix per se, but it may be a workaround that works for some in the meantime.
The game was working fine for the last 5 days or more i pre ordered and played day one

@EA_David had the issue currently listed, 1004 error... also had a 600. turned off cross play and was able to get right in
EDIT - that lasted for 1 round, and round never started.. error again

its definitely a cross play thing on my end, playing on PC. turn it off and always get to the squad start screen. with it on, error always comes up. but that match that i get to, never starts
