Unable to respawn or be revived after being downed

Had this happen three times last night in the span of about 10 minutes - different game modes. Conquest, Battlefield Bad Company 2: Rush and a player owned server. The lack of redeploy on the main menu is a big issue, I’m unsure if it does actually exist but when this glitch occurs it doesn’t and the only fix is to leave the game and lose progression. Super frustrating when you spend most of the game fighting then have to leave in the last few minutes ☹️
