I really appreciate the info. Yeah the thing is that I am using external power for this hub and I am supplying it with the exact power it says that it needs. The hub calls for 5V 3A and my power supply can do 3.6 - 6.7V at 3A so that definitely covers 5V 3A. Maybe it's because my power supply is variable voltage? I could see this type of thing happening if the voltage on the power supply dips lower than 5 V for some reason. Also can you tell me more about peripheral performance with usb hubs? I had hoped I wouldn't really be losing any measurable amount of performance.
@PUREAWESOME013, are you using a power supply that came with the USB hub?
So generally speaking, some USB devices even block USB-hubs, iPhones and iPads for example even give an error in some cases when they're connected via a USB-hub, because the amount of power they then get won't allow them to sync with the PC. It is also very, very common to have some sort of 'hissing noise' when using a wired (or even wireless) USB headphone when plugging them into a hub. This is because the most stuff you plug into a hub, the more power it requires and the more heat and noise it can make, which then translates to electric interference and possible malfunction of the plugged-in device(s).
My PC does it. NO hub. 2 peripherals only.
everything else unplugged. It’s not a hub issue. It’s a 2042 issue. Doesn’t happen in any other battlefield title or any other game that I have ever played.
It’s not your HUB. My PC does it too and it’s probably what is going to drive me to not play 2042 anymore. I have unplugged everything apart from mouse and keyboard. And still the issue persists. Never had it happen in any other game. Just this.
Yeah bro I just starting having the same issues again even though I'm not using the hub at all anymore. It was definitely a more frequent issue with the hub but I have the same exact problem again now without the hub.
