voice chat

so I play 2042 once a week with my husband and his friend, last week the game wouldn't load me in so I sat out that week. This week I go to play and it still wouldn't load. I tried repairing it, didn't work. I decided to uninstall the game and then I installed it back. I now have absolutely no voice chat privileges so I can't talk to my husband or his friend through the game. I can hear all in game audio but no voice chat capabilities are happening. 

Update: I have talked to EA through their chat and they said it is a bug in the game to which the issue is occurring. The person on chat said that the team that takes care of the bug issues should be getting back to me. So if anyone is experiencing this issue, it should be fixed soon....
