VOIP not working?
Icon lights up but can't hear friend. Series X and PS5
It started working after I created Xbox party and changed to game chat.

Make sure you or them are not muted. For some reason the game likes to mute people when you click on their name.
Also, check to make sure you aren't in an XBOX party. IF you were in a XBOX party and then joined your friends 2042 (EA) party, it doesn't switch unless you manually leave the XBOX one.
