Why is reporting a bug so much work?

Why is it so hard to report a bug?  The issue is not with my system, I don't want to type out what card I have, run dxdiag, give you my SSN, my great grandmothers maiden name, and sign a contract ...

    @WarriorMan256 as we need as much info as possible when we are trying to replicate the issue to be able to fix what is going on, I understand its tedious and there are better solutions to it.

Because they don’t want people reporting bugs.

i tried reporting my current issue and the bug reporting form was bugged.

it wouldn’t let me state what platform I’m on, so wouldn’t let me submit the form!
