EA announced a new and strong in-house created Anti-Cheat. Then only gave it to FIFA. While BF players languish the inevitable onset of PC cheaters. Now the game is awash with obvious (check youtube) cheaters that are now ruining the fun of BF. The game (BF2042) has had a super rocky start, and has been plagued by problems. Just as the patches make it playable. The companies that make subscription cheats for PC drop cheats that are un-detectable by the current half measure known as "easy anticheat". Which if anyone who cares to read. Knows that said cheat companies already know how to overcome. I like many in the BF community was excited to hear that EA was creating their own Anti-Cheat software. That is until we all learned that only FIFA was going to have this wonderous new anticheat implemented. My question posed above in the post title spells out the question all BF players (except those cheating) want to know. When (if ever) is EA going to do something (anything) about PC cheats? They will probably lock this thread (like all the others that have to do with cheating). To keep it from overflowing with the same kind of remarks and complaints that fill the MANY threads others have started about this "cheat-demic". Honestly though as a member of one of the largest communities of gamers (BF fans) I think we all deserve some straight answers. In the very least an announcement that some thing IS going to be done to restore even and balanced "cheat-free" gaming, while dropping the Ban Hammer on all cheaters.

Due to the cheating problem on all EA games. I will not be buying the latest battlefield 2042 or any new release until something is done about cheaters.It is actually not very difficult to solve especially with the current AI tech that is available.Just change the way games load and create an ability to swap players back and forth between servers, duplicate servers, and duplicate players with AI players who mimic the players including chat conversations.I think it would be pretty awesome to have my own AI self that performs based on my player stats. The only use for my Ai duplicate is to entertain cheaters.Anyone flagged a cheater who joins a server would instantly be rerouted to a duplication of the server they joined.The cheaters that slip through the cracks of this system would be those who tweak their cheats to give themselves an edge. That is where other detection systems will need to be in place.As a bonus of making this development, battlefield games would have better bots for offline play.

Are you trying to discourage others from asking EA to adopt the new (kernel based) anticheat because you operate or work for cheat companies? I see in other posts you are quite helpful, and I was wondering if this negative attitude is because you decided to troll? Do you not play BF2042? Thanks for the input! 😉

Are you trying to discourage others from asking EA to adopt the new (kernel based) anticheat because you operate or work for cheat companies? You see how BF2042 turned out how their patches have been released now you want the same people to have access to root on your computer. I don't know how better to put this but no.

@sk1lld You made yourself perfectly clear in your original reply to this topic. Only those with something to lose or hide need worry about a kernel based Anti-Cheat. EA software engineers are skilled enough to create amazing games. I believe that EA will put similarly skilled coders to work on a totally new Anti-Cheat that will threaten the profits of cheat subscription companies, and the disreputable people that purchase their cheats. Everyone else will have the pleasure of cheat-free gaming.

I understand that currently there are no plans for the implementation of the new Anti-cheat in Battlefield 2042. I hope that this topic will gain some traction in the Battlefield community to garner consideration by the EA Developers to integrate this new Anti-cheat into BF2042, or even the next Battlefield title.
