I had this problem and got very frustrated. Turns out, it was from my logitech racing wheel being plugged in. Must have confused the game for some reason; disconnected it and quit out of G Hub and it now works!
I had the xb1 controller during alpha/beta, and it worked. I believe even in my preferred controller+mouse style.
Since then, I have replaced that broken controller with the newer one based around the series x.
Doesn't work.
I loathe using a kb for fps. I simply won't play BF until the controller works.
Already prestiged 4 times in CoD:Vanguard and about 50 levels in OW since xmas. Would really like to play Battlefield 2042.
BFV it works, in bf2042, it is completely unresponsive.
