[Xbox Series X] BF2042 Error 15:1305P, 1302P, 1300P, 1301P: -7A

I am open to ANY suggestions that could help that I have no already tried. Thanks in Advance!

I have compiled a list of everything I have currently tried to troubleshoot this issue..

I've been getting this error for 3 days and have not been able to connect. I reached out to EA Tech Support and they stated it's a known error. They also stated my account was in good standing I was not blocked. Their suggestion was to keep trying to login and "eventually" I should be able to connect. Seriously?

3/19/2023 Update; I am able to connect/play using Xbox Cloud Gaming (Game not installed). I am not able to connect/play if the game is installed onto console. I think there may be an issue with the Sync Data stored on the Microsoft Network. I can delete it locally (on console) but that has no affect. I am afraid if I delete it from the Microsoft Network all my achievements, game play, and leveling will be erased and I will have to start all over.

Current Setup;

Xbox Series X

- Factory Reset (like when you first booted it up)

- - Fresh install BF2042

- - - Game Pass Ultimate Subscriber

- - - - Xbox Account linked to EA Account

Router; TP Link AX11000 - Diagnostics test - no issues.

All Xbox Ports Forwarded

- All BF2042 Ports Forwarded

- - Upnp working

- - - NAT Open

- - - -  No VPN

- - - - - IPv6 & IPv4 working properly

Things I have tried to connect to BF2042 Servers

  1. Moved Xbox to Router DMZ - Unsuccessful
  2. Tried a VPN - Unsuccessful
  3. Bypassed router (Connected directly to wall ethernet) - Unsuccessful
  4. Unplugged Xbox for 2min after shutdown - Unsuccessful
  5. Unplugged Xbox for 2min (Hard rest) - Unsuccessful
  6. Removed/Cleared Persistent Data - Unsuccessful
  7. Removed Game Data Reserved Space - Unsuccessful
  8. Tried both Google & CloudFlare with same results - Unsuccessful

Xbox Series X - Alternate Methods

Removed BF2042 from console

  1. BF2042 Cloud Gaming - Successful
  2. BF2042 Reinstall (Sync Game Data) - Unsuccessful
  3. Friends & Family BF2042 Accounts - Unsuccessful
  4. Verizon Hotspot (iPhone 14 Max Pro) - Unsuccessful
  5. DNS - Google, CloudFlare, OpenVPN - Unsuccessful (IPv4 & IPv6)

* I do not have a PC (Mac M1) - Unable to test *

  • After about 3 or 4 hours of my Xbox being powered off with it unplugged from electricity, I decided to plug it in and load the game.

Upon my surprise the game connected to servers and loaded!!!!!

Unfortunately, My game save did not load/sync and the game loaded as if I had just started playing. I immediately closed out the game just in case it was a fluke. I Clear my local game save and loaded the game again. And was presented the same scenario.

A good years worth of playing, grinding and leveling up with my friends lost.

Tomorrow I will call Microsoft and HOPEFULLY there is a chance to recover my cloud save or remedy this issue.

FYI, I did not delete the cloud save.

    I will keep this updated.

I was able to finally connect to BF2042 servers after EA finally reached out to me with a resolution.

since I had already did everything listed above numerous times EA was convinced it was definitely an MS issue causing an issue with my EA account being linked to it. I listed the steps rep took to resolve it.

YMMV, but as of now everything was restored and my achievements, rankings, and rewards are current.

Do at your own risk, I am not responsible if you lose your game saves and game progressions.

    1. Unlink your console from your EA account by going online to EA and log into your account. (Don’t worry you can relink it) . If there is no option to unlink your console chat with EA Support to do this.
    2. Uninstall ALL EA games and apps from console
    3. Clear local and 360 storage from settings to ensure no issues
    4. reboot
    5. Reinstall BF2042
    6. Launch game and Login to EA with your credentials when prompted.
    7. Let the game connect and load.
    8. Review your BattlePass ranking and BF Level,  achievements, rewards, etc in game.
    9. Login to your EA account from a computer an verify your Xbox is linked.

** Again,  I did all of this while chatting with EA Support and it worked with zero issues. YMMV.

This may or may not fix your “Persistence Data” troubles.

    Good Luck!
