Xbox series X can't connect to the EA servers Error: 1:4688822970:100J:1004G

I pre ordered the Battle filed 2042 gold edition, for xbox series x via the Microsoft store. This includes the early access on launch day. But when I load the game it can't connect to the EA servers...

    I worked out how to resolve it.

    It seems EA’s servers didn’t like the public IP my ISP had issued me.

    Fortunately im not on a fixed IP, so if i turn off the router and disconnect the data cable for 10 - 15 mins, when reconnected it and powered back up it’s issued with a new public IP address.

    This resolved the issue for me

    Can you explain what "fixed Ip" ? New public address?

    Is this beyond our control?
