Zoom (ADS) Aim Assist on zero yet it still snaps & tracks target!

Product: Battlefield 2042
Platform:Xbox Series X
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Breakthrough
Please select your region Europe
On which server did this happen? Any. And on any mode; not just 'Breakthrough' (you force to choose one).
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Anytime
Summarize your bug As per title. I set Zoom (i.e. ADS) Aim Assist on zero—and yet it plays like it is anything but zero...!...
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Self-explanatory.
What happens when the bug occurs? The aim reticle upon Zooming (ADS) still attempts to snap to near-to-it targets—and even worse—drags the reticle along trying to track the target.
What should be happening instead? Zero means zero. No slowdown, no snapping, no tracking.

You did exactly the same in the 'Pacific' update on BFV. Some of us noticed that the ADS Aim Assist was still working even though we had turned it down to zero.

After our reports PartWelsh stated publicly on Reddit that he "had checked with the devs and nothing had been changed".

After much polemic DICE finally admitted to changing it, unbeknownst to anyone. You threw PartWelsh under the bus.

And here you are doing exactly the same, three years later. You have no shame.
