“Battlefield 6 Now Allows Us to Fight While Downed and Bleeding Out”
I think—and many players might agree—that Battlefield 6 would benefit hugely from a downed combat mechanic. Instead of dying right away, players could enter a downed state where they can still pull out their pistol and shoot while waiting to be revived—even while a teammate is dragging them to cover.
It’d be available for all classes and would make squad play way more intense and cinematic. Imagine clutching a kill while bleeding out and being pulled to safety. It’s the kind of moment that sticks with you and adds emotional weight to teamwork.
To keep it fair and balanced:
- It could only happen once per life
- You’d have limited ammo
- You’d still be vulnerable to headshots and explosives
It’s a small feature, but it could lead to some seriously epic moments and make revives feel way more dynamic. Instead of just laying there doing nothing, paralyzed, and then magically getting up like nothing happened when someone revives you, this would make the whole process feel way more immersive and alive.
EA already added Drag and Revive, which is a great step. But this would take it to the next level—making revives not just tactical, but cinematic and interactive. I think a lot of players would love to see this added.
