A couple features missing that would be nice

Some smaller features that would be nice that have been on previous games.

1: Flag poles. Seeing the enemy flag go down and yours come up as you take a point has always been a nice touch and gives you a sense of pride taking an obj. Now it's just a UI on screen, which still works, but it's missing that special sauce.

2. Music ramping up at the 100 ticket count. In beta, so I'm assuming the game, it's missing. The game ends and you think "oh, since when?" In the past, when the music starts ramping up as the tickets get lower, you know where the game is, and it pushes the stakes for both teams. One team it's like a battlecry to win, and the other its a desperate final push to not lose.

3. Compass on by default. I'm not sure what the decision to have it off by default was, but you'll hear "enemy tank to the east" but you have no directional compass to have a clue where that's supposed to mean. The compass should be on by default, with the option to turn it off, not the other way around.

Different models for vehicles per side. If I spawn on a certain faction, shouldn't I have a different looking tank/helicopter/jet than they do? I feel like a simple model swap can fix this.

Sniper glint. Yes, we need to know where the snipers are, but they could be toned down some.

There have been some graphical bugs and glitches that everyone else has posted, but overall I'm enjoying the game. None of these break the gameplay or immersion too much, but they would be nice QOL features that DO bring the immersion up. I had a blast playing weekend one, and I'll definitely be playing weekend 2.

    I liked the flags too.

From what I understand, the vehicles at launch will be faction specific. NATO will have Abrams, Bradleys, Apaches and F-16s. Pax Armata will have Leopard 2 tanks, CV90s, Eurocopters, and A European fighter, possibly the Gripen or Eurofighter. These are just examples, but there won't be any heavy mixing of vehicles between favtions like BF2042. Both sides will have their own vehicles at launch.

I am curious if the British NATO forces get their own vehicle types. That would be awesome.

Scope glint was purposely exaggerated for the beta. They plan on dialing it back before launch.
