ADS bullet spread is deceiving, and its turning my friends away :(

I like the fact that we are awarded a little more accuracy or control while we are mounted, prone, crouching or standing still. I have always thought it was silly that in games where you can ADS, moving or strafing really doesnt bob your sights around.

I like the fact that in battlefield 6, we cant just hold the trigger down on long range enemies and have a high hit percentage. I like the opposite, quite more. Semi automatic is the preferred firing mode of soldiers.

Which is why i love the game Squad, which started off as Project Reality, a mod for BF2. More people play that game than battlefield 2042. What i love most about it though is that its a better decision to keep your rifles and carbines on semiautomatic because the full auto recoil in that game is very hard to control. Its a waste of ammo. Much like real life. I keep my weapons on semi auto even when im clearing houses sometimes.

But you know what squad does even when firing full auto? The sight is attached to the weapon, and the sight goes flying off target on full auto. The bullets always go where the sight is. Thats why in Squad, we know how much recoil there really is. Battlefield 6 gives you this cozy, easy to control sight when firing full auto, and that is very deceptive to the players, especially new ones.

My friends, who are CoD guys, are holding their sights on the enemy and spraying, just like in CoD. BF6 guns feel like they behave like CoD, but obviously dont because of the bullet spread. My friends are frustrated with this, much like me. "Yo i lit him up." Then i have to explain to them how battlefield has always had this bullet spread while ADS. I gotta tell them how the ADS is really just a mask for a blooming crosshair. Now my friends are once again not going to play battlefield, depsite all of the things it does amazingly well. Thats sad to me.

There is a reason battlefield has never been top dog, and your deceptive ADS is the number one culprit.

The ADS needs to reflect where the bullets are going. Stop lying to the players.

Even with semi auto DMRs, there is bullet spread. How am i suppose to feel good playing this game when im on target yet my shots are missing? When the sight is on target, we need hit markers. Plain and simple.

And the TTK needs to be faster at range, if its going to change. I have never once gotten a kill in BF6 and thought "man that guy 50 meters out really should have taken 1 more bullet to kill." The damage fall off is too much. All it does is force players to go close quarters. Battlefield is known for large maps yet we are all trying to close the gap to just spray each other down. Players will be choosing the shotgun because shooting longer distsnces sucks. This is going to get repetive, and people will leave this game, which could be beautiful and could have amazing gunplay.

Please EA.
