What about giving the respawn beacon to the squad leader - regardless of its class? Many other tactical shooters like Squad or Hell Let Loose do this. I think it would encourage closer squad play and it would put pressure on the SL to actually play the objective. Maybe a Squad Perk or Field Upgrade could be faster respawn times for the beacon.
I am bit biased against recon (I hate snipers, sorry) and more often than not, I see them placing spawn beacons for their own convenience like close to a camping spot or on the top of a high building which doesn't necessarily aid the team's efforts to capture objectives.

No problem, you are supposed to hate us, otherwise we aren't doing our job, can't deny that there is a good number that do that but we work better hovering around the squad then in it. cut their numbers before they reach you or find areas that gives us an advantage as glint gives us away.
