Anti-Cheat Suggestion: Streamlined Quick-Report Function
First of all, I would like to thank Battlefield Studios for your efforts during the Open Beta in combating cheaters and maintaining a fair gaming environment. I would also like to share one suggestion regarding anti-cheat measures.
Currently, players lack a direct and efficient way to report inappropriate behavior. Offending players’ IDs may be complex or hard to remember, making it difficult to locate them on the scoreboard. In addition, the reporting process itself is somewhat cumbersome, requiring multiple steps that interrupt the flow of gameplay. As a result, some players may simply give up on reporting, which indirectly allows cheating behavior to persist. Furthermore, the lack of immediate in-game evidence can make official investigation more difficult.
To address this, I suggest adding a “Press R to Report” option on the downed state screen. Pressing R would allow players to quickly select the type of misconduct, while the system automatically records the offender’s player ID, match ID, and timestamp. This feature would significantly simplify the reporting process, improve both efficiency and accuracy, and encourage players to participate more actively in anti-cheat efforts.
