I believe a awesome perk to give the assault class is the ability to "shoot while down" whether that be solely the class or even giving said ability to the person your reviving as assault; could also let assault use their primary when reviving a person. Some drawbacks could easily be slow fire rate and decreased accuracy. Even faster drag speed as a bonus perk would be a nice addition for overall team play.
We had similar idea. Instead though I would rather have the assault lose its high HP (more balanced for 1vs1) and gain the ability to use his pistol when down. This way assault class can do its job but and not feel too OP. However he would only be able to use his pistol and the injector, the downside being he can't move and if he's shot "kill" again he will bleed faster
how about "drop grenade on give up" instead?
Actually I would like too add that. So its a last ditch effort to take your opponent with you at the end. Not sure if that should be added for regular play or an nice addition for hard core mode. But yes you get the option to try to pistol enemy's with your gun and chance a rescue or bomb them to he'll ( not throw but drop the grenade)
Not a fan of the drop grenade option, but perhaps a pistol with one clip could work, it has been tried before.
Saying that, I'm sure the developers feel they have balanced classes so something like that could upset the balance.
Who knows.
if we're going all COD then I feel martyrdom(but you can choose when to release the grenade, by giving up) is more fun than last stand.
Yep, I can see that problem. You can also add a feature that instead of having 100% chance to drop a grenade, the chance will decrease the longer you wait to give up (well the grenade idea is something I would like to see) but I would rather just have the pistol drop down
Ps name the ability "don't know when to quit"
