Battlefield 6 – Feedback after 20–25 hours of gameplay
Highlights
- Feels like classic Battlefield again, no operators or gimmicks, just authentic gameplay.
- Gunplay is solid and satisfying.
- Weapon customization with 100 point caps keeps builds balanced.
- Weapons progress individually, not tied to overall player level, which feels rewarding.
- Destruction feels balanced buildings require multiple hits to fully collapse, which keeps strategic points relevant.
- Reminds me of Battlefield 3 so much that I even took days off just to play.
Issues and Observations
- Occasional stuttering when replaying the same map.
- Loading screen bug during Friday’s session that required restarting the game.
- Reload animation sometimes fails, which cost lives in shotgun fights.
- Lighting bug causing flickering lights.
- Slide cancel exists via double tap, worry it might dominate movement.
- On Libretum Peak, the armored AA vehicle had no engine sound, harming immersion.
Please Keep
- The classic, grounded feel.
- No cartoonish skins or over the top cosmetics.
- The current pacing, don’t let movement exploits dominate.
Final Thought
Battlefield 6 already feels like a triumphant return to form. With polish and a commitment to this authentic vision, it could be one of the most beloved entries in the franchise.
