Battlefield 6 Beta Feedback Report
Platform: PlayStation (console)
Gameplay & Balance
The overall game pace feels too fast, resembling Call of Duty rather than traditional Battlefield. The chaos makes it hard to enjoy tactical gameplay.
- Weapon balance is inconsistent.
- Shotguns can one-shot kill at long range, which feels broken.
- Assault rifles (e.g., AK) require multiple bullets to the chest, making the TTK far too long on console.
- SMGs often outgun ARs even at range, according to damage logs.
Suggestion: shorten TTK by around two bullets (or 20%) or improve aim assist on console to compensate.
Vehicles feel too fast, making gameplay feel arcadey and chaotic. This may appeal to new/younger players, but longtime Battlefield veterans may find it frustrating.
Red dots above enemies make it too easy to spot and shoot opponents through smoke or when they try to hide. This reduces the tactical element.
Anti-Air Balance
- The Stinger launcher feels overpowered:
- Its reload speed is extremely fast.
- Combined with the longer flare cooldown on aircraft , this results in a very high chance of being shot down.
Suggestion: slow down Stinger reload speed or reduce the amount of ammunition available.
Exploits & Bugs
- Every tested map had exploits allowing players to get outside map boundaries, which can completely break gameplay.
- Map selection did not always function properly, forcing unwanted rotations.
Sound Design
Sound design is excellent – immersive and well-balanced. This is one of the strongest aspects of the beta.
Overall Impression
- The game has potential to be a great Battlefield, but currently feels:
- Too fast and chaotic.
- Poorly balanced in terms of weapons and vehicles.
- Frustrating in TTK mechanics on console.
- If pace and balance issues are addressed, this could shape up into a strongest entry in the series.
