Battlefield 6 Beta Feedback
All in all I had a great time with the game over the first weekend. It is pretty obvious this game is going in the right direction. Here are the only real critiques that I have, not counting any graphical errors, glitches, etc. All of that is expected with a beta and this is one of the best running modern games I have played.
Keep in mind that I am a hardcore BF fan and have also been a KBM main for most of my gaming life. Since the only real game in town for the last 5 years was COD it has given me some different perspectives on things.
PLEASE REMOVE BLOOM!
I absolutely get why bloom exists but if it is removed and base recoil is increased it rewards skill in the game. Nothing feels worse from a gunplay experience than bullets not going where you are aiming. One of the reasons COD is so addicting is the gun play feels amazing. Even if I don't want to play, just beaming people is enough to get my excited to que up. If the idea is to grab a lot of the COD audience then this is a huge one for them.
MENU/UI
Complicated, messy, needs cleaned up for sure.
NETCODE,SERVER LOAD?
The desync is very noticeable. Dying around corners, dying in a millisecond, stuff like that.
GAME WIN/LOSS Ratio
Maybe its just due to the small maps in the beta but almost every game feels like a blow out. Once you are behind it feels impossible to catch up. Not to mention break through seems impossible for the attacking team.
THIS MAY BE CONTRIVERSAL
As the title states. I have been a KBM player for over 20 years. That was until warzone came out and it was apparent how strong controller was for that title. If the idea is to get a lot of the COD audience than slightly, SLIGHTLY increasing the stickiness of the aim assist would help. I played a few hours on controller and to be honest it feels pretty balanced but for a lesser skilled player its tough.
BATTLE ROYAL
Cant wait to try the BR but my only concern is that if the BR is a big success the care and drive for the base multiplayer game falls off. Please keep Battlefield alive, the multiplayer is awesome and millions of people love it.
If these items were addressed I have really no other qualms. Server browser is a take it or leave it for me. Class system is nice, could go either way with that as well. Sweet spot mechanic is one of the reasons I put some many hours into BF1. Sniping felt amazing and feels great in BF6 as well.
I have played the battlefield franchise since BF 1942. I have always loved this franchise and really want to see it succeed and improve. Good work to all involved!
