beta feedback :) (possibly part 1)

For the most part we seem to be on the right path.

Shooting feels mostly okay. Weapons have plenty of recoil, had to get used to that. Good selection of guns, only didn't like the pistol. Shotgun did not feel particularly useful in any of the maps, and i noticed a lot of sniper rifle usage. Maybe too much of it.

Medics currently don't really feel like they got too much to do. Might be the ability to give up that messes with the natural loop of "player goes down, get to reviving"

Main issue i had were the maps. I particularly want to call attention to the usage of color on the maps. During my 7.9 hours with the game, i noticed that i was unable to tell the difference between each objective point. i narrowed down the issue to a lack of visual interest around said points; in my opinion, an addition of something eye-catching to the area would help to tell at a glance (that is, without looking at the mini-map). Obviously nothing too crazy, but for example: King's Battery (i believe that is what the map is called) is primarily a mixture of light browns and washed blues. a change to a yellow-er shade around an objective could improve readability. Alternatively, there could be some sort of simple visual element that ONLY appears on that objective to tell it apart from it's objective brethren.

Performance was actually rather great; my not-in-the-best-of-condition gaming laptop was actually able to run a steady framerate. i was rather displeased to not find an option to lower particle amounts however. Unless it is there and i just can't find it.

Aside from that major issue, i am pretty happy with how things are in the test. It runs fine, plays fine, and looks fine, aside from the aforementioned issue with points of interest on the maps.
