I agree with every point you made here. I am also finding sniping to be extremely difficult in this game when I LOVED it in BF1 and BFV. The amount of hours I've put into the Scout class is insane.
Man I have the SAME problem as you—I can't look down my scope without getting sprayed with gunfire from everyone on the map. It makes recon almost unplayable and I can't have fun at all.
