BF6 – Feedback After Playing

Hey! I'm a big BF fan since BF3, played all the titles since then, and I have some feedback about this new one

- I miss the quick attachment menu from BF2042 (pressing T to instantly swap attachments). It made adapting to combat much smoother.

- Visual filters feel too heavy, with strong blue, green, and reddish-brown tones. A cleaner, more neutral color grading would improve visibility and reduce eye strain. Miss the cool blue sky from BFV and 2042

- Love the pull-and-revive mechanic, but these should be separate actions. Right now, you can pull someone without moving them, then still have to wait to revive with adrenaline — feels clunky.

- Maps feel too flat and linear, lacking underground routes or rooftop access. Adding vertical and alternative paths would make gameplay more dynamic.

- Many civilian vehicles are on the maps but can’t be driven. Let us hotwire them with a cool animation for immersion XD

- Menu settings are a bit messy and confusing. A cleaner, more obvious layout would help.

- Helicopters need more spawn slots — it was great in past games to be able to drop in with a parachute more often.

- where are the cool weather changes or levolution ? BF4, BFV and 2042 has awesome weather changes, please bring them back!!

- Spawn map design feels ugly compared to BF2042’s beautiful top-down, realistic view.

- Map design is realistic but not as visually striking as BF2042. I feel 2042’s art direction was more beautiful overall.

- ADS (aim down sights) feels unusually slow compared to BF2042 and other BF titles.

- Would love maps with boats, jet skis, gliders, and other vehicles to expand movement options beyond just infantry or tanks.

- The robot dog from BF2042 was fun — maybe in this more realistic setting, a version with a real dog could work.

- Squad/commander commands feel buggy and inconsistent right now.

- it should have get in/out from vehicles animation.

Overall, the game feels like it innovated less than BF2042, but it’s great to see a return to the franchise’s roots. Now it just needs new ideas without breaking what already works. please keep enhancing it

The entire spirit of Battlefield is that you pick a kit on what you think contributes either to your play style or your team's needs the best. The idea is that, if you go long range for example, that the burden is on you to create that niche where it excels. I (And I assume a lot of BF fans) did not like the idea that you just spawn in and change on the fly.

Completely agree. One thing I always felt like older BF games did well was create areas within a broad map where action was concentrated, without forcing players directly into it. I always liked the idea of having routes either on the outsides of the map or like you said, more vertically where you can flank. The current maps feel like CoD maps where they want everyone in the map to be at risk of being shot at any point. I understand they dont want stale gameplay, but at the same time its an objective based shooter. There are multiple ways to go about an objective rather than blunt force.

  • I see what you mean. but it is not physically impossible to carry a supressor inside the pocket and plug it on when you feel like you are going to need it. or just trying new scopes by carring one or two on the bag, I like to rush into the capture points and I die so fast I can't even use it all at once. but it is much faster and not so tedius as going to the menu and changing each class etc.
