BF6 Beta Weekend 1 feedback / summary

The first Battlefield 6 Beta weekend is now over, and here are my first impressions and a summary with my personal findings & thoughts.

Last Thursday, the time was finally here - time to hop on to Battlefield 6.
I was very excited to give the new Battlefield game a try, and boy it was a lot of fun. Right from the first round, i landed straight into a chaos zone in Siege of Cairo. Had lots of fun right from the start and kept playing the game for many hours and eventually all weekend, so i think it's safe to share my opinion now about everything that stood out to me so far and give my feedback.

The maps available look really nice and well designed, i love the chaos and confusion in Siege of Cairo where you get shot from all sides and angles, but so far we have only seen small maps (apart from Liberation Peak which is a bit bigger and probably my current favorite).

So i am hoping to see at least a couple decent sized maps in the game,
say for example for vehicle combat and naval combat,
with plenty of Tanks, APCs, Jets and Helicopters available for each team like we had in BF3 / 4.

I love the destruction in this game and the piles of rubble that form, it is a very fun experience and makes every round feel unique in it's own way.
The sound in this game.. insane! I just love it. The sound of jets flying by, buildings that are crumbling.. everything happening around me just sounds incredible! Big props to the sound design team.

The game is a bit sharp looking though, and it is sometimes hard to tell your teammates apart from enemies and it can be quite tiring for the eyes and sometimes even a little painful.

And now the list of things that i think may need changes / tweaking.

1. The shotgun is currently too overpowering in my opinion.
At close distance they seem totally fine to me, because in the end it is a shotgun after all,
but they are way too powerful in mid and high ranges.

2. LMGs.
At the moment you can walk around with the KTS100 MK8 LMG like it is a SMG.
I think the weapon is too stable when firing it from a standing position and thus a bit overpowering.

3. Sniper glint
I think the current amount of glint is too much, and i think it needs a little nerf.
Currently it kinda ruins the purpose of finding a good spot as a sniper, as the glint
feels like a dead giveaway in it's current state.

4. Vehicle explosion / explosion damage
The damage taken when standing next to a exploding vehicle is probably too low.
I could literally hug an enemy tank that was about to explode, and i would survive the explosion with no problem and have maybe about 15 - 20HP left.

5. Vehicle attack damage
I think the damage of tanks and APCs should be a bit higher,
currently tank shells and turret feel like they are not doing enough damage to infantry for example.

6. Lack of vehicle supply / repair stations
I think there should be a bit more vehicle supply / repair stations available.

7. TTK feels good generally but i think there is still some problems with the netcode.
Sometimes i would need only half a mag of bullets to kill someone, and at other times i could shoot 2 mags at someone (so to speak) in the upper body and he still would live on.
