I completely agree. The idea that snipers break games is such bull**bleep**! They don't! PUBG is a prime example of a game with bullet drop, no glint, suppressors, cover and long ranges and sniping is a non issue. Yes Battlefield is different but those differences make it even harder for snipers. Cover, smoke, mraps, tanks, gunships, cas, bombs, other snipers, hell even a shotgun and a quad can stop a snipers. Snipers are meant to offer a counter to wild pushes and cover to offensive actions. When you nerf one portion of combined arms then the entire system starts to break.
Movement is trash also. Sliding needs to go away. I would LOVE to watch some idiot try to slide in kit if it wasn't for the fact that they would hang up, face plant and blow their face off with an AD. And to go from that straight to a crouching jump BS? Battlefield does not need to be COD!!!
