Breakthrough & Reviving Mechanics
Loving the game so far it's been a great experience overall. That said, there are a few things that clearly need some adjustment, and one of the biggest ones right now is Breakthrough.
At the moment, it feels almost impossible to make meaningful progress as the attacking side, especially with five different points to take. A few reasons why this might be happening:
- Defenders have unlimited lives, which means they can respawn quickly and get back into position almost instantly.
Attackers tend to revive more often, which slows down the push and makes the pace feel uneven, because defenders can just respawn without loss. - As a result, pushing forward can feel like hitting an endless wall, which is frustrating and makes the mode feel unbalanced.
Another issue I've noticed is with reviving mechanics. When playing support, reviving a teammate is just a tap and they’re instantly back up. I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but it feels a bit unbalanced. There should probably be a short animation or delay to add some risk or decision making to revives, and to keep things fair.
Anyway, these are just my thoughts from playing, would love to hear what others think! Are you seeing the same things, or is it just me?
