Bullet drop

When is the bullet drop coming back into BF. This was a staple of BF back in the day and should be included in the final game. Sniping should be hard and shooting someone from afar should come with skill. This isn't COD.

    Agree 100%

Snipers in Breakthrough are way to OP.

No one can or are willing to push when you are perpetually getting one shotted

Glad to see someone mention this. They need to get rid of sniper glint (or at least only appear when SPECIFICALLY aiming at someone and facing the sun? Keep it realistic FFS) and bring back bullet drop. Sniping should be high skill ceiling not a point and shoot for 10yo kids using controller.

  • I remember playing Bad Company 2 multiplayer and having sniper battles with the bullet drop, action was intense.

  • Bullet drop was exadurated in past games, Gravity affect on bullets was dialed up, The bullet drop on old games has lied to you. They are taking a line with more realistic balistic physics this time.

Its not what you expect or are used to but its reality

BF6 is far more realistic with bullet drop.

Vast majority of rifle rounds don't have much bullet drop IRL at 1-200m.

There is bullet drop.. Just, none of the maps in the first beta weekend are big enough.. so you barely notice. Compared to most of the other weapons, the sniper is kind of inferior.

I love the sniping in this game though. If you are far enough you definitely has to account for the bullet drop to hit your shots.

They should reduce the sniper glint.

  • 100% agree!  Way too easy to one shot payers. Be nice if they made it a little harder to do so.

  • I didn't know that "when realistic bullet drop happens" I have always learn how to adjust by doing some practice shot before going for my enemies, afterwards I just have a feel for the distance. I hope they bring larger maps to test it.

Yes I would love the glint gone too unless you are under the sun, that way it would encourage more tactical play from snipers instead of simply going for advantageous position (i have the higher ground Anakin) cause no matter where you go you'll be spotted so there is no point in moving around or going for a lower position since it will inevitable end with you dead (sitting duck 100%). don't get me wrong the glint should stay if you are on a hill with no roof making it avious where you are so that you will move around more and since snipers have auto spot even more so (snipers would have a more active role in keeping your team alive rather then sitting back)
