I as well want to be able to disable crossplay on PC, the reason is simple. I want to play on same premises as anyone else, not against aim-assisted console players. This is a make or break deal for me.

But PC controller players have aim assist too?

Then don't turn it off if you play with a controller. Aim assist AND lower recoil.
But the rest of us wants it disabled - Rivalen816 days agoRising Rookie
Yeah, I can play on PC against other PC players, the console players kinda need aim assist to play an FPS. So they can cuddle together and have a nice time on the couch. I don't mind that, but I don't want to play a game with them in these types of games.
By having the choice to exclude console players on PC, it gives me the liberty to enjoy the game a lot more, I am aware that aim assist exist on PC as well. But far less players use gamepad/controllers.
I'd be for a way to filter out any aim-assist player/controller user that needs aim-assist on PC as well. All I want is a fair game.
There are cheaters in addition to aim-assist users, no news there.
But it all adds up to a snowball-effect. (A rather big snowball-effect)
Cheaters and aim-assist is the main reason why people quit playing or show low interest in competetive FPS games. It needs to be adressed properly.
