Changes MUST be made if this is going to truly be a Battlefield game

Feedback from a veteran BF player:

  1. Keep class-locked weapons as the battlefield standard! Remove unrestricted weapons within classes entirely. Stick to what made battlefield unique. It’s one of the pillars that makes Battlefield what it is! Without class-locked weapons, the game just becomes a COD clone.
  2. S-L-O-W the game down. In just about every aspect. The overall experience is just way too fast (including respawning) and this is another big factor why it feels like a COD clone at its core. When the gameplay encourages people to just run and gun, it stopes being a BF game… To this point, see my note below about removing zip lining mechanics from the game. They go hand in hand.
  3. Add a server browser
  4. Never add bots to matches! Do not cater to COD players or novice players by doing this. What makes BF special is that if you want to get better, you need to practice and earn it. This is part of the fun!
  5. Adjust the spotting system. It’s very aggressive and I end up just shooting at some orange diamond instead of actually using my eyes to look for the enemy. Spotting is great and needed, but it’s way too much in this game. Like cut it down by half or so.
  6. Reduce scope glint. It’s insane. This comes from someone who doesn’t even primarily use snipers or DMRs.
  7. Fix the assault class. This class is not a team-focused class at all. Start by removing the injector stim entirely, then by changing the special abilities. It just feels like a COD game with this class.
  8. Remove zip lining mechanics from the game entirely. (You can zip up the elevator shafts in the Brooklyn map, for example.) This is arcade-y and should not be in a battlefield game. Plain and simple.
  9. Color grade the game better. It’s lacking visually, to the point where it’s as if there’s a desaturation filter on my screen at all times. Just look at how gorgeous BF1 is! Even having a color grade in the middle of BF1 and how BF6 is color graded currently would be a massive improvement.

There is lots to praise about this game too, and it is almost back to peak Battlefield! But you HAVE to listen to the Battlefield community (not the CDO community) to restore this game to its glory.
