Color grading hurting readability

I get that the game esthetic is a massive race to try to bring BF3/4 feeling back but the color grading style was actually one of the worst things about those games in my opinion.

The heavily duotone palette with lifted blacks and flattened whites makes it incredibly hard to interpret the environment and enemies, especially in SDR. Blue, green or purple shadows with sepia brights and barely any other color on your screen is very tiring for the brain who is constantly trying to compensate it.

Please consider toning it down by half, bringing back some color variation or give players options to turn down the color correction intensity.

Battlefield 2042 had a very modern 'clean' look which I'd prefer but I'm sure a middle ground between that and the 'nostalgia' look can be achieved.

Here's a simulated example to my best ability with BF2042 screengrabs.
