Controller input lag and sluggish sensation

Within the first minutes of playing BF 6, I noticed, almost conspicuously, the considerable amount of input lag when using a controller. In my context, I use an Xbox controller. This, for me, is an incredibly pivotal component in overall game enjoyment and even immersiveness. When attempting to look (both with and without ADSing) feels as though the character is failing to follow my directions, this causes two salient issues: 

1. My ability for control and aim is hindered not by any mechanical error on the player's account, but by the game's sluggish and almost-glue like sensation that comes as a result of the input lag.
2. The second point is really just a consequence of the first point. When my ability to aim and adjust a character's directional position is hindered or lagged, this hinders my (and I am almost sure other players') ability to feel fully immersed in the game.
