open weapon system is dum. an interesting take on the recon beacon for assault. i hadnt considered that. but i dont think recon snipers should get it, not having it helps move snipers into the fight rather than camping just off map(i say this as someone who prefers sniping) or forces them to go travel longer to get to a good spot which would reduce there kill count. maby engineers? they are usually toward the front of the fight. thoughts?
You shouldn’t need to force sniper players into the fight they are doing what sniper players should do, hold the back line and take out other snipers or other support players holding positions against your team. You can always ask your teammate to place the beacon somewhere up ahead or do it yourself if completely necessary. Idk it just makes more sense for the recon to have it
