Dropping my Feedback (Week 2)

Considering no changes were made from Week 1, i'll just copy-paste the same thing PLUS added the Week 2 experience

MAPS:

  • Liberation Peak is terrible, anyone can just GOAT Jump to the mountains and snipe everyone below, and there's nothing that can be done, considering how someone can hide between the rocks and make an impossible target to hit.
  • Liberation Peak on Attack (Breakthrough) is unwinnable, the attacking side always has the upper hand and there's no way to win unless just so happens said side is filled with terrible players, it is also, infested with players.
  • Possible solution: Extend the out-of-bounds zone for the mountains and re-think the layout for the Breakthrough map, both offensive and defensive.
  • Empire State:  A map with gigantic verticality that hurts the experience, if you aint controlling C then you're pretty much wasting your time. Snipe anyone from below-under, control the main buildings, call the game. Super small, super short and very frustrating.
  • Possible Solution: Add more hiding spots? Best outcome to avoid getting shot from above
  • Size: Most of Week 1 and 2 maps were incredibly small for the type of game mode offered, there needs to be something mid to large size, unironically Liberation Peak is the only map thats not small enough to engage into large combat

WEAPONS:

  • Shotgun, i know they're deadly irl, but being able to take 75 HP off someone at mid-long distance is kind of crazy, no matter the configuration, everything one-taps you with it...It needs a nerf
  • Cannot complain about Stingers but i do will complain about the Engineer class having the privilege of running with 2 rocket launchers and a shotgun, both vehicles and players meet their demise against Engineers, and you can easily farm points just by repairing teammates tanks and SUVs, so what's the point of playing anything else aside from Support and Engie?
  • RPG, Now the Rocket Launcher does absolutely nothing for splash, sure you can turn someone into red paste wtih a Direct Hit, but hitting his feet or a wall where said player is standing deals absolutely no damage, and that makes it frustrating, hell, the splash damage is so tiny i even attempted to rocket jump with it and nothing happened.
  • SMGs or Weapons with low control, "Low control" i dont think there's a difference of recoil in any weapon, you can just run and gun or zoom and shoot yet land every single bullet without having to move the mouse downwards to control it
  • Pistol usage is borderline non-existant, very few players i've seen pulling their pistol when they run out of bullets (actually some people on Twitter, no one in-game), Assault gets access to 2 Primaries and the pistol, but considering how underpowered and situational the gun is, Assault now gets 1 Primary and a free shotgun to destroy everything.
    The only usage i found with the pistol was to play as the Spy, just running around shooting people with it and stabbing them when they were giving me their back. A very weak and unfun playstyle just because of the Pistol.
  • Knife, speaking of it, it deals no damage whatsoever and the stab animation takes too long. There's more chances of me dying to someone casually running by the stab animation than the guy who i just killed.
  • Defibrillator needs a very very small wait time to revive teammates, defending a point becomes pointless (no pun intended) if 2 squads get revived by 1 single Support in their team.
  • LMG and DMR are super weak, havent seen anyone use them, using them myself just guaranteed that i was going to die anytime soon

UI:

  • There needs to be better information on injured teammates, there's nothing more frustrating than being downed, with your hand raised, waiting for someone to revive you and just seeing all of them camp one corner or just giving you, their back.
  • Compass should be universal and default to every class, placed on top of the screen right below the objective or above the map, its useful information against Snipers, more so on Liberation Peak.
  • Realized just how bad the main menu UI is, having to scroll (and sometimes it bugs out and doesnt go back) is frustrating and confusing, it needs to be clear and friendly, not an Android App

BUGS:

  • Swapping cameras between teammates creates some weird graphical glitches
  • Often in the match you can see purple and red lasers going from ground into the air, super weird stuff  After playing it for hours i haven't noticed them anymore. Did it got fixed?
  • Dying or spawning near ledges or corners makes the character fly
  • Being at 0 ammo, throwing a grenade, then attempting to reload, just doesn't do it and you're stuck with 0 ammo until you swap weapons or a few seconds have passed
  • Going out of bounds, then back in, then back out can glitch the gray scale and the red message once you're in-bounds again
  • Dying, getting revived, and dying again, then attempting to get revived glitches the character into spinning on its own
  • Cairo has some insane places to climb and kill people from, only solution is to destroy the whole building with the RPGs or Tanks
  • There's a slide cancel bug that messes up the weapon's aim. Happens a LOT, even if you're soon to ambush or running into corners by sliding into them 

WISH LIST FOR RELEASE:

  • Allow users to pick the map they want to play Done, thanks lol
  • Server browser
  • Make Javeline do strong checks on DMA cards, as cheaters popped up out of thin air 
  • Nerf the shotgun, buff LMG and DMR
