Few ideas big changes
I was thinking, what would be good to include In battlefield 6 on release and if need be included later down the road, I’ll give my ideas first and go a little into detail after:
Fpv bomb/emp drone, elite classes, artillery call in, engineer gets one rocket launcher rather than two, most vehicles need something changed on them, tank=turret turn speed, heli=better movement controls
let’s start with the biggest change, fpv drones, now this is a hot take but devs should give it a shot, now we all know the respawn beacon is getting moved to the assault class, but the question is, what does recon get instead? Why not fpv drones, they are very real and very modern and see no reason not to include it as long as it’s balanced properly, first off the drone absolutely need either a battery depletion or a connection mechanic, either way it limits the range at which drones can travel and be effective. And next comes spotting the drone, it needs something similar to the sniper glint but not as bright, a blinking red light would be perfect, so it can be spotted by infantry, tanks, and helicopters. Just imagining EMPing a heli and watching it crash into the mountain or a tank stopping it in its tracks for the engineers to get to work with rpgs or take out the tank yourself with the bomb drone (doing same damage as c4 as a starter but I’m not a dev so I can’t test it but it would be nice to destroy walls). Drones also let the assault class (or anyone with a shoty if they done lock the weapons) be able to effectively engage the drones with shotguns.
for the elite classes i trust that they can implement SOMETHING, but it was nice to find a flamethrower in bf1 would be nice to see it in bf6 as well (obviously not the flamethrower).
another big game changer, calling in artillery this would be something cool to spawn in on the map like a laser pointer or something or in my opinion have a box like the vehicle resupply near objectives where it’s on a timer cooldown (not available at start of match) and your are shown a map only being able to see spotted players or ones inside a uav, these stations can be used by both sides when targeted it’s a short duration of high explosives in either narrow or wide spread, and maybe stations can only hit so far out so if one team is dominating, they can’t use all of them, or maybe only have one at spawn but it can see the whole map except enemy hq. I’d like to see some sort of artillery being implemented in the game.
idk what dev though it was a good idea to give the engineer 2 rocket launchers, please please devs Lock it so they can only choose one, I like the two gadgets, just lock them, they are way too much overpowered against vehicles, helicopters die crazy quick if you didn’t put a few hours to learn the controls, give them like a mini peaceable uav or something idc.
vehicles need updates as stated above. tank turn speed, at least on pc is absolutely horrendous, I have about half my desk sized mouse pad reserved just for my mouse, it takes me like 4-5 big swipes to even do a 180. Ik I can change the sense but why is the default so low.
turn on the compass by default
