Gameplay
While I really enjoy playing Battlefield, I think explosives need some buffs; both RPGs and grenades especially when it comes to splash damage. At the moment, RPGs only reward direct hits on infantry, and grenades feel very weak unless enemies are already low on health.
Suggestions for improvement:
RPG Splash Damage:
Current RPGs only kill with direct hits, which feels too restrictive.
Introduce two RPG options for balance and variety:
RPG 1: Strong splash damage against infantry, but about half the normal damage to tanks.
RPG 2: Normal damage to tanks, but reduced effectiveness against infantry.
Grenade Splash Damage:
Grenades currently have very poor splash damage.
Buffing them would make them more reliable and rewarding to use in crowded fights.
This way, Engineers can choose their RPG depending on their playstyle without making the class overpowered.
As someone who really enjoys the Engineer role being able to repair tanks as well as engage enemies, I’d love to see these features implemented. I think it would add more depth and flexibility to the class while keeping the overall balance intact.
