Here's my honest thoughts about BF6's concurrent beta over 15 hours.
First things first, the open beta is absolutely rocks. Aside from few personal issues i mentioned below, looks promising and if EA and BF studios can keep the pace like this, we're going to have the smoothest Battlefield title launch i've seen in years.
Here's a list of things what i liked about the beta:
1 // Smooth and punchy gunplay.
2// Tactical destruction. (and hopefully we see the Levolution in certain spots at maps)
3// Sound design. (as always)
4// Class system. (even if it's a bit flawed.)
5// Solid voice acting. (people don't talk about this enough.)
And here's a list of things what i didn't liked about the beta:
1 // Janky knifing animations.
2 // Balancing issues within weapons. (especially M870 shotgun.)
3 // Occasional frame drops on lower end systems. (hopefully it gets optimized for lower/older graphic cards like GTX1050ti.)
4 // Secure boot requirement for Javelin Anticheat. (not everybody is well-versed about formatting a Windows BIOS, so take this with huge grain of salt.)
5 // Lack of server browser (everybody complained about it and rightfully so.)
What i'd like to see in future of BF6:
1 // Community and Mod support. (especially at Portal.)
2 // Variable zoom option for scopes with higher magnification.
3 // Customizable camo & kit after a certain amount of progression/grind.
And that's about it for now. BF6 is off to a incredible start and hopefully the game goes as what we hoped and wanted for.
Yours truly.
