Hit Reg issue or???

Is anyone else having hit Reg issues in weekend 2 vs weekend 1? The game felt great for me in the first weekend, aside from the horrendous settings layout and the terrible controller default settings. The controller feel is an entirely separate issue. But in this second weekend my bullets feel as if they are vanishing.

And no, I'm not behind cover and shooting a rock or wall. I mean literally out in the open within a few meters behind a guy that's laying down completely unaware that I'm there and I'm literally watching my bullets come out of my barrel but doing no damage to him just for him to roll over and kill me. 

Nothing on my setup has changed, I have 1gb internet with a 3ft direct connect to my modem. It sits next to my PC. 

I also feel like I'm dying in two bullets while getting 5-6 hit markers myself. 

I know I'm not great at the game but I typically carry a 1.5-2.5KD in every fps I play. I had a 1.53 in the first weekend and now I can barely go positive in any match I play. Am I missing something?
