Honest Feedback

Hi everyone,

this is my honest feedback, played on Ps5, Logitech Pro X Headset, 1080p TV.

I played about 25 hours, with maybe 70% of that being on the first weekend, cause unfortunately i was busy with work on the second weekend.

In short, i had a lot of fun playing and with the correct improvements, this would become the best shooter i ever played.

I made bullet points for better visibility, somewhat but not entirely in order or importance.

  • Sound: Steps sometimes don't feel right, i sometimes had problems to determine where someone is running (I usually don't have that issue in other games), there was one type of shooting by a tank that sounded like someone running on metal, or metal stairs, i kept thinking someone is approaching me until i figured that out haha
  • Aim Assist felt waaayyy too overtuned, i had to reduce it to 50% to be able to play properly, for example when someone that i shot at was running from left to right on my screen and i was trying to stay aimed on the target, i would aim in front of the person cause the aim assist was overcorrecting where i aimed; when i was shooting someone that was quite far away and someone ran through the screen pretty much directly in front of the guy i was shooting at from my perspective , my aim shortly followed the guy running instead of sticking on the guy that i aimed at
  • some maps didn't feel particularly balanced
  • overall relatively good anti camper mechanics due to the battles evolving relatively quickly
  • i had difficulties to distinguish my icon from my squads icons on the minimap, proposition: make my icon arrow shaped, it was sometimes hard to orient myself quickly in intense fights
  • when an enemy shown on the map and then disappeared again, how do i know if he was killed by an ally or if he's still there but not spotted any more? i think the dot should become a small red x when killed by an ally and just fade out when he still lived but just stopped being spotted
  • sometimes it felt very hard to distinguish enemies and allies
  • some minor clipping errors when people were laying on the ground or downed or dead
  • performance seemed to drop occasionally when being in a building that was getting destroyed, overall the performance felt absolutely fine
  • people where getting very high on a roof where i didn't think players were supposed to get to, it felt near impossible to shoot them from street level (location:  siege of cairo,  if you draw a straight line between B and C, pretty much in the middle on that line)
  • shotgun shouldn't be oneshot killing, except for headshots, felt broken af in short distance
  • lobby difficulty seemed to vary extremely, i wonder if there was any sort of matchmaking in the beta at all, it felt like there wasn't
  • i think i should be shown the damage i dealt to enemy just before i died, same as the dmg that enemies did to me
  • respawn countdown timer was bugged occasionally and wasn't visually displayed on screen
