Instant spotting needs to go.

In Battlefield 6, if a player looks in the direction of an enemy, a huge red diamond topples the enemy's head. This effectively allows players to just aim down an alley and instantly see ALL enemies down that alley way. It is very annoying and needs to be reworked or just eliminated. At least make it to where "Q", or a key bind of a player's choice, is the only way to spot an enemy by manually aiming at the enemy and pressing the key bind. It makes sense if a player running recon has this ability, but definitely not every player.

Now, this passive spotting may only show the red diamond to the player that is aiming or looking at an enemy, and not to the whole team, but i still feel it changes gameplay too drastically. Realistically, if you wanted to check your environment, you would have to scan the environment for hostiles. With this instant spotting, you peak a corner, aim a gun, and see red diamonds before you realize there is an enemy player model.

This post is not to say that players should not be able to spot enemies for the team. It just seems like it would be much more skill based and realistic if players had to manually spot enemies for the team. Think about the real world, if you see an enemy combatant flanking left, or shooting from a tower, you will radio it into your squad or say something to your ally next to you. The equivalent game mechanic would simply be aiming at an enemy combatant and then pressing the spot key bind.

The red diamond is fine, as long as the player spotted the enemy visually first, then marked it manually!
