I think this is a good argument. There is a massive imbalance when it comes to the ground-air relation. I would go as far as to say the entire interaction between the two and the physics of the vehicles in the game need to be completely scrapped and remade/rethought from the ground up. Even the ground vehicles feel seriously unfun to drive. DICE spent so much time in 2042's post release to try and make the tanks, jets and choppers feel like they had weight to them and satisfying/fun. You could argue that the mechanics behind the vehicles in 2042 lacked the depth people wanted but I'm talking about the feel of the vehicles and the way the physics work. I think it was Criterion that made the vehicles. We need them again. Vehicles being fun and engaging is just as important to me, as a BF vet, as simply moving around and shooting on the ground. Balance and stuff is important but more than that, simply flying/driving needs to FEEL fun. I'm desperately hoping for thorough changes to the entire vehicle portion of this game post launch, it simply cannot be done before. It's too massive of an undertaking. Battlefield IS vehicles, just as much as it is classes and guns. That interaction between the two is something you don't get in many other franchises.
