I have an Intel Core Ultra 185H with a RTX 4090 laptop (comparable to 4070Ti desktop) and I get 30-40 fps at high on 1440P, because of cpu lagging behind 😂

I'm experiencing a similar issue.

I'm running a 5600x with a 3060ti, and I'm averaging around 45 FPS at 1080p on the lowest settings with DLSS Ultra performance in the beta. However, this same system runs Battlefield V comfortably at 160-200 FPS on low settings.

So far, I've tried adjusting my RAM speeds (from 4000 MHz CL18 to 3600 MHz CL16 with 1:1 timings) and have seen a slight improvement, going from 45 FPS to around 55 FPS. I've also used various stress testing programs to check my CPU and compared the results to averages and everything came back normal.

My friends, who have similar CPUs, are getting twice the frame rates at 1440p on low settings. I was starting to think it might be because I have two fewer cores than the system's recommended 8-cores, but even OP is facing problems. Please update us if you find a solution.

EDIT: I don't know what changed, but I loaded a Domination match and I had a steady 120 frames the entire match, finally able to enjoy the beta. I'm not sure what fixed it but these are the only things I changed:

-I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and turned low latency on,
-Switched my ram from 4000 MHz CL18 to 3600Mhz CL16,
-I enabled my in game overlay in the EA app. For steam you can try toggling it on or off and seeing if that helps.

It seems that those problems may occur only on CPU non-x3d, some of them not working at 100 % of power, some having suden drop fps , others having  Ghz dropping,some only usses 10 or 20 %  of power. Plus  form what i have saw some people are complaining about  the game incopability , even whit some RAM kits ... i have G.skill Ripjaws 32 gb . I realy dont know what to be the problem ..... im not a software inginer.

I'm having the same problem with FPS! Even though my computer meets the recommended system requirements. I hope NVIDIA will release new drivers. I'll also try running the game through Steam instead of the EA launcher, as StarFisher83 suggested. Maybe this will really help

Sounds like your computer may be utilizing your 7800X3D igpu instead of your 7900 XTX. Here are a couple videos on how to fix this issue.

I've got almost the same setup as you, excepts for the 5700x, i have a i9-9900k. Basically i was getting horrible fps, around 30-40 on low and 15-30 at high/ultra even with DLSS on performance. Basically what fixed this for me was messing with the screen configuration in game (Borderless/Fullscreen), i was playing in full screen and when i suddenly switched for borderless my fps increased a lot, now im playing high/ultra with 60 fps, i think you could give it a try! (Sorry for my english, its not my first language)

I understood your message even though it's not your native language.... Look, one of the many problems with games these days is the lack of proper optimization of games. You see, many games/companies prefer the easy way with the aim of making money quickly and using as a means of ''negotiation'' those new fake applications like DLSS, FSR, DLSAA and so on... now, it is understandable that the game is in the BETA test stage but the future does not sound good for the video game industry if this is what they will resort to in the end, like ''you didn't buy a card with 6th generation DLSS you can't play''. Honestly, the theme of the BF 6 game is good, but you can't resort to such false techniques like DLSS or FSR with the latest hardware components to play a game at 120 fps 1440p or 1080p, while a game like Battlefield 1 after almost 10 years to work better and have better graphics would be a shame. Yes, there are problems that can be fixed, like, in the game lobby, the video cards and processors are at 100% usage, certain RAM kits can crash the game, processors that don't use the frequency at normal capacity, etc. Problems differ from one person to another, but the main thing is to optimize the game well.... P.S. the best combination of battlefield (a personal thing) is as follows: BF 3 movement, BF 4 levolution and BF1 graphics ..... the best!

Same thing happening to me, similar specs. I ask others in chat and they claim they're getting way better frames on worse rigs, really weird.

I’ve found a fix for this at least on my setup:

Turn all rBar settings off using nvidia profile inspector

turn nvidia reflex off 

I’m not sure why this worked but I went from 45-50fps to 70+ on a 3050, seems to be more a cpu issue than anything so if you can take as much weight off the cpu as possible do it 

3060ti & r7 3700x 32gb with docp/xmp enable playing on 1440p with the lowest settings + DLSS balanced ... the game is unplayable (40 fps and veryyyyyyy laggy) even tho its exactly the recommended specs (where is my 1440p high settings 60+fps)

Edit: followed "Battlefield 6 - Best PC Settings to Boost FPS & Visibility Instantly" and installed from steam (not EA as before) without FG ~80 fps with FG ~120 fps (both 1440p low settings dlss balanced) and the game feels great.
