Anyone else feeling like the maps that we have been given in the Beta feel way more like COD than they should? Just feels like clustered COD with spawning and dying every 2 seconds.

I get the feeling but I also think thats kinda the point of the beta, if they gave us super large open maps with a lot of nothing in between you wouldnt experience alot of the action and they wouldnt get to catch as many bugs

For the only the only non urban map I do think it could have been a bit bigger. When It came the urban maps it was a shame you couldn't use any air on those maps and they did feel much smaller then id like it to be.
Yes I feel the same way. I actually think it's got more to do with the ultra-fast movement speeds than the map size. I feel like DICE needs to reduce movement speeds to counter the CoD feeling.
The maps are tiny for battlefield but hopefully they just wanted to put these 3 small maps as its the easiest maps for the beta but hopefully the rest of the maps are the same massive maps like on all the rest on the battlefield games
2 more maps will he infantry only on release, so i doubt it will get much better.
I would like to see larger maps with slightly bigger control points in the final game, because the maps shown in the beta feel way too frantic. In my opinion, the most frantic gameplay should stay in Domination mode, while Conquest should have a larger scale with slightly less chaotic combat. I would also prefer not to have so much of the slide–shoot–jump mechanic, because this mechanic in the beta will give streamers a lot of views, but it will push the Battlefield audience away from the game.
The maps were too narrow, on top of that the routes to the flags basically funnelled everyone into killzones.
There needs to be more room around flags to manoeuvre and approach.
The capture areas are too small condensing players too much.
Liberation peak didn't feel like a large conquest map.
I only played closed weapon conquest but I'd go as far as saying the maps are designed around breakthrough.
If that's the case the Devs need to seriously go back to the drawing board as they are awful Breakthrough maps
